Kellys Beach and The Basin

Kellys Beach & The Basin is less than 1 minutes walk and offers a safe area where the whole family can swim and snorkel in safety. There are many other family friendly beaches to choose from within a short drive including Elliott Heads, Mon Repos, Moore Park, Burnett Heads, Innes Park, Coral Cove and Woodgate Beach. For a beachside picnic head to Bargara Esplanade Turtle Park with plenty of seating, barbecue areas and tables.

Mon Repos Turtle Centre

Witness majestic sea turtles make their unique journey ashore to lay their eggs on a guided tour from November to January. Then watch them hatch and make their journey to the sea from January to March. Bargara Golf Club

Within a short stroll is the Bargara Golf Club which offers 18 holes of quality golf, from challenging par 3’s to long par 5’s plus a new clubhouse that overlooks the Pacific Ocean. The Club has a fully stocked pro shop with electric carts and buggies for hire. Burkitts Reef Dive Site

Burkitts Reef is located in front of Bargara and is a popular shore diving site that is covered in lovely hard corals and home to stingrays, crayfish, moray eels, wobbegongs and typical reef fish including angelfish, lionfish, scorpionfish and butterflyfish. Bundaberg Rum Distillery

Located just 15 minutes drive from The Point Resort is the iconic Bundaberg Rum Distillery. Head back in time where it all began and discover the history of the Bundaberg Rum including how it was discovered and how it is currently being produced. Amandine is a family owned and operated farm producing only a enough lavender to supply their in house gift shop.
