Australia’s favourite bass-baritone Teddy Tahu Rhodes and one of the country’s most popular pianists Guy Noble perform an exciting new concert of greatly loved opera arias and show tunes.

The program includes Largo al factotum from The Barber of Seville, The Toreador Song from Carmen, Some Enchanted Evening, If I Were A Rich Man, Oh What a Beautiful Mornin’, Gilbert and Sullivan and more.

Teddy Tahu Rhodes has sung with the world’s leading opera companies including The Metropolitan Opera in New York and Opera Australia, and performed many of the greatest roles including Escamillo (The Toreador) in Bizet’s Carmen, Scarpia in Puccini’s Tosca, and the title role in Mozart’s Don Giovanni.

Club Bargara Lighthouse Festival takes in the best our beach townships have to offer.

Running from the Bargara Golf Club we follow the ocean into the Mon Repo Conservation Park and Back out at Burnett Heads past the new and old Lighthouses.

There will be 2km kids, 8km, 15km, 21.1km and 42.2km as options. Everyone gets a Run Bib and finishers Medal.

Oceanfest is a Community festival which has focus on local seafood, attractions and live entertainment. Admission is free, and the festival is held on the last Saturday in August of each year at the beautiful Bundaberg Port Marina precinct. Oceanfest is organised by the Rotary Club of Bundaberg Sunrise, and proceeds go to local charities and worthwhile causes which benefit the local community.
